So you’ve enjoyed your sleepout, had lots of fun and now it’s time to think about those all important funds you worked so hard to raise!
How to send in your online donations
If you’ve been fundraising exclusively through our online platform on everydayhero, then you don’t have to worry about sending in donations because that’s already sorted. However, your fundraising page won’t actually close until February, so there’s still plenty of time for friends and family to save their pennies in the Christmas sales and donate to your event instead!
Worried that your online fundraising page doesn’t reflect your full total? Don’t fret because you can show your fundraising skills by adding an offline donation to your page. If you don’t know how to do this then get in touch.
How to send in your offline donations
If you’ve been fundraising more traditionally, with sponsorship forms or collections, here are the best ways for you to send us the money you’ve raised:
1. Count up all your offline donations into one grand total.
2. Cash the total money raised into the bank. Then you can either:
● Send in your offline donations via cheque to Church Urban Fund, clearly marked “Advent Sleepout” with the name of the Sleepout event you participated in and your own details. Our address is:
Church Urban Fund
Great Smith Street
● Send in your offline donations via bank transfer. For more details contact email@example.com or call us on 020 7898 1091.
If you’ve used sponsorship forms please remember to send those in too, having the details of all your donations will help us to claim gift aid. And if possible, please try and avoid sending us cash donations, it’s heavy for you and can get lost in the post!
Thank you so much for all your hard work in supporting us this Advent! Last year, the money raised helped to offer 4,300 bed spaces in night shelters this winter. Thanks to you, Church Urban Fund will be able to help even more homeless people in 2018.
